HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM THE INTRINSIC VALUE WEALTH REPORT

The following is a suggested way you should proceed in getting the maximum benefit from the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM). You can access this material in any order that you wish, of course, and most of the material is designed to be used on a standalone basis.

As you go through the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report, please keep in mind that the books and the material on the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report are in the form of a new book which I call a DUKE. DUKEs are dynamic in that they are ever-changing and adaptable. They are, by design, never complete. Some of the books may not have very much content at the present time, as they are just being developed (but I have found that my students and others find it useful to get the information as it is being developed – rather than wait for it to be in final form). In general, DUKEs are always in development. They are works-in-progress – substantially completed, yet it is intended that they will never be absolutely complete – as the authors of these works intend that new material will be continually added and old material continually revised. This dynamic nature makes them easily updatable, very flexible, and easy to adapt to changing technology and needs. DUKEs are described in more detail in Book #7.

If you want to learn how to create personal wealth and learn how to invest, first read Book #4, The Intrinsic Value Wealth Creation Pyramid and the Pillars of Wealth (TM). This book walks you through such important topics  as the Intrinsic Value Wealth Creation Pyramid (TM); financial planning concepts; the Pillars of Wealth Creation; and starting and completing your financial plan. It also has specific investment recommendations and ideas in the non-stock market areas of investment.

Next, you should read Book #3, The Cassandra Stock Selection Model Handbook (TM). This book takes you step by step through the process of investing in the stock market. It also provides you a list of stocks that you may want to include in your investment portfolio.

If you want to just get down to the basics of building wealth, go through the wealth building steps in Book #9, Four Easy and Powerful Steps to Building Wealth. Here you will learn how to build wealth very easily. There is no theory here – just a straight-forward plan to building wealth, along with the investments and tools to accomplish that.

Having learned the basics of financial planning, personal wealth creation, and investing in the stock market, the next step in your journey through the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) is to understand the concept of Intrinsic Value. The meaning of Intrinsic Value, as well as how to create and invest in intrinsic value, is discussed in Books #1 and #2. Book #1, A Theory of Value Drivers: A Grounded Theory Study, is the first book in the series of books in the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM). It laid the foundation for understanding the shareholder value creation process. This book was the result of over three years of research into the shareholder and enterprise value creation process.

Book #2, Think Strategically, Think Value: The Complete Handbook for Creating, Sustaining, Analyzing, and Investing in Enterprise Value (TM), followed Book #1 and was written to further explore and explain value creation concepts. Both Books #1 and #2 should be read and studied to understand the value creation process.

Book #6, Simple and Effective Economic Forecasting (TM), started as an article that was written for a publication that is part of a large, well-known publishing group. The article evolved into an interactive part of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) on economic forecasting. It was decided that, due to the importance of understanding the economic environment, it should be developed as its own book. Accordingly, the parts of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) that dealt with the economy and economic forecasting were combined into Book #6.

Having taught hundreds of business students over the last twenty plus years, I recognized the need to have a quick  reference guide of management and business tools for business students and managers. Hence, Book #5, Management and Business Tools and Resources Handbook (TM), is being developed. It is intended to provide a quick and ready reference guide, and a handy checklist, of some of the most essential business and management tools that any business student, entrepreneur, or business manager might need.

After having developed Books #1 through #6 in a new eBook format, it became apparent that a new concept in eBooks was forming. The essential characteristics of these books are that they are ever-changing and adaptable (i.e., “dynamic”); they tap into a universal pool of intellect (i.e., “universal knowledge”); and they are in an eBook format. Hence, I coined the term, Dynamic Universal Knowledge eBooks, to describe these types of books. Thinking a little of the horse that I ride on a frequent basis, who was named after a famous actor, I shortened Dynamic Universal Knowledge eBooks to simply, “DUKEs”. Book #7 talks about this evolving eBook format.

Book #8 – Entrepreneurship is, as the title implies, a book about starting and running a small business. It is geared toward starting and running any type of a small business – from a hair salon to a high technology phone app – and everything in between. We use this book in our business incubator program on a world-wide basis; but it can be used by anyone starting a small (or not so small) business.

Book #10, A Model of Business: How Business REALLY Works, is a model of business that incorporates the Value Driver Chain into a model that explores the very fundamentals of business – from the very beginning to the very end.

The Value Driver Institute (VDI) was established upon completion of Book #1 – A Theory of Value Drivers: A Grounded Theory Study. VDI was established to conduct further research and study into the value creation process. It was also established to take the business incubator concept to places in the world where business incubators are not commonly found, but where they are needed the most. You can read more about VDI and its expeditions that are conducted through its subsidiary, Research and Educational Expedition Programs (REEP), in the VDI section of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM).

The Crowd section of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) is where we seek to get involvement from our community of users of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM). This section of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) is currently under development. It is intended eventually to be a forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge in the major areas covered by the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM).

The Charts for Review and Thought section of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) is intended to provide a periodic, quick snapshot of some area of business, finance, investments, or the economy. It is meant to highlight some significant current development or event in these areas and perhaps provide a spark for discussion and/or comment.

Finally, our Sponsors support us in many different ways. They are listed in the Sponsors section of the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM). We ask you to support our sponsors whenever possible.

I hope you enjoy the Intrinsic Value Wealth Report (TM) and find it to be useful.

All The Best,

Dr. Paul M. Wendee
