Dr. Wendee was a judge at the First Robotics competition in Orange County March 31 – April 1, 2016. First Robotics is a program for high school students which is designed to foster creative thinking in the sciences and engineering; build teamwork skills; and develop business and fundraising skills. Students participate by building an industrial-sized robot that is used to compete against other students in a difficult field game.
